Software Setup - The PSCAD Initializer (Released Edition)
This article provides instructions for setting up the PSCAD Initialzer software and licensing. These instructions are applicable for Version 1.
To set up your software, please refer to the attached “Quick Start" setup document.
Or for more detailed instructions, please refer the “Detailed” (PSCAD V5) document.
A silent (unattended) installation is available if you will be installing PRSIM on multiple machines. Please refer to Section 2.6 of the "Detailed" setup manual.
If you will be sharing licensing among several users, PRSIM should be configured to always return the license whenever the application is closed as per this article.
